How We Started!
The Revival Center was started from a Block Party, the Kentucky District United Pentecostal Church hosted, in September 2015. That service saw 501 first time guests with many receiving the Holy Ghost and being baptized in Jesus Name! From that one event, a congregation started, and The Revival Center of Prestonsburg started having services at the old Quality Inn in Prestonsburg. We eventually partnered with the local Episcopal Church who were gracious to allow us to use their facilities for our services and church events.
Where We Are!
We have been so blessed in the city of Prestonsburg and now have our own church facility to call home at 1372 Northlake Dr, Prestonsburg, KY right beside the Dairy Cheer. Under the covering of our Bishop, Gene Easterling of Christian Faith Outreach in Ashland, we have led the congregation in Prestonsburg since 2019. We currently have service at 10 AM on Sunday's and meet on Tuesday's at 7:00 for Family Bible Study!
Where We're Going!
We believe the Word of God that says, "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to usward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Pete 3:9)" We wholeheartedly and desperately believe that for the city of Prestonsburg!
We rejoice with the Saints who have received the revelation of Repentance, Jesus Name Baptism and Receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost! But we KNOW that God is not finished! We can hear the footsteps of hundreds even thousands of new converts in this community making their way through the Revival Center of Prestonsburg's Doors!
